My name is Sara Posdzich-Lewis and I am a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) living in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains.  The most important job title I hold however is a mother of two wonderfully wild littles and a wife to a loving supportive husband.  I founded The Modern Midwife Collective because I wanted to foster a place for women to connect, learn, and to flourish together.  To become advocates for their health, to learn even more about their bodies, and to be even more confident in listening to that inner intuition we sometimes push aside.

This space is going to address everything from pregnancy to birth, women’s and mental health, and everything in between and beyond.  We are complex beings, so it is important that we look at topics in a holistic manor , approaching the woman as a whole.

There will be guest interviews at time and teachings along the way from professionals in their fields as well as personal stories from readers like you.  We want to hear from you!  What interests you, what do you want to learn about or have clarified. What experiences have impacted your life for good or for worse.  If you do share an experience don’t worry it can it can be 100% anonymous.  There is however one thing that I would like to clarify.  This is a safe place.  We all come from different walks of life with different experiences.  Anything less than love and support will not be tolerated.  So please, allow yourself to be open to new ideas and concepts even if you don’t agree with them.  There is often more than one path to get to a destination.  So let’s explore together and hopefully you can find the right path and direction your looking for.

Be Well,

Sara Posdzich-Lewis MSN, CNM
